Position/Title: National Production / Technical Manager
Position Overview: The creation of a national production facility to support a newly created business division aimed at providing secure, timely document development, print and distribution solutions to the sensitive financial markets industry on a National and International level.
The integration of RR Donnelley into our national offices to provide them with Australian presence, and extend the divisions capabilities to a international scale.
I was trained by international financial printers RR Donnelley as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to manager international projects with RR Donnelley (New York, Singapore) & Bowne (London), including international simultaneous print and distribution requirements.
To oversee the production and to fore-fill the role of a CSR on all projects from initial bid through to distribution, including concept development, quoting, creation of print specifications in accordance with budget, quality control and customer satisfaction.
The role included the appointment, supervision and training of all staff and contractors, the engagement of group resources, equipment appointment, purchase and deployment.
To play a key role in developing new products and business strategies to position the business at a highly competitive and noticeable contender in the financial documents market.
