Canon debuts new management team
Allan Corder steps up as Canon’s new deputy managing director and chief operating officer.
The former head of Canon’s Consumer Imaging Products Group is now responsible for managing both the business and consumer divisions.
Reporting to him is a new senior team of three: Jason McLean, senior general manager, indirect sales, Nick Peterson, senior general manager, direct sales and Craig Manson, senior general manager, marketing.
Under the restructuring, Tony Wills has stepped up to become executive advisor to the COO and program director for implementation of the customer-orientated channel approach.

According to managing director of Canon Oceania, Mr Kobayashi, the realignment provides the company with greater uniformity.
“The realignment of the business and consumer divisions will help us enhance service levels for customers and deliver a broader range of offerings from a single Canon entity,” he said.
Corder (pictured), said that Canon is preparing fro aggressive growth by harnessing its range of technology solutions.
“We see opportunities in the market, despite the economic climate, and we are looking to maximise the power of our combined offerings to take advantage of them,” he said.
“Were in a very strong position for this next phase of our transformation program.”
