Leading wide-format supplier Canon reported busy opening days at Visual Impact held in the Sydney Showground.
Canon is showcasing the latest Océ Arizona 2200 series of UV flatbed printers - and flew in from Vancouver one of the latest models in time for the show.
"The theme of our stand is As Committed As You, so what we're trying to convey is our commitment to the wide format industry," says Haydn Wills, manager, wide format marketing, Canon Australia.
"We believe we do that better than any of our competitors. We've got a real commitment to R&D in the factory and we've got new machines here including the Arizona 2200 flatbed.
"We flew that in from Vancouver especially for this show and it's created a lot of interest. That's the second new flatbed machine we've released in the Arizona range over the past 12 months.
"Some of the enhancements have been around the print quality and the speed, and of course we have the roll media option in the front, which is something that not a lot of our competitors can do."
