Canon Oceania says bonjour to new MD

Changing of the guard at Canon Oceania as Mr Takanobu Nakamasu takes over as managing director while Mr Kenji Kobayashi heads to France.

Mr Nakamasu (pictured) will be responsible for leading the company’s short and long-term strategic direction and moves into his new role from a Group Executive position at Canon in Tokyo. He brings with him rich experience of Canon Europe, where he has spent 20 of his 30-year tenure with the Canon Group.

Mr Nakamasu’s predecessor, Mr Kenji Kobayashi, who held the position of managing  director for almost three years, is still with the company and has taken up a new role in the Canon Group as managing director of Canon France.
