Catch up on LabelExpo Europe with LATMA

Missing out on seeing the latest label technology in Brussels is not the end of the world. Representatives of suppliers present at the show will offer feedback at upcoming LATMA technical sessions.

John Leathart, president of LATMA and divisional manager at Pegasus Print Group, says the educational catch-up sessions will provide feedback on what was missed, and technology that was on show.

“Attendees will hear what’s on offer not only from agencies represented at the event, but also what they noticed at the show. It will keep them up to speed on how the various industry bodies will face the future,” he says.

Free for all LATMA label converter members, the technical Brussels Expo feedback sessions will be held in Sydney on 20 October in the morning and in Brisbane the same evening. Five days later Melbourne will host a morning session with Adelaide finishing up in the evening.

Peter Petran, from RotoMetrics and VP of LATMA, has organised a group of supplier representatives that attended the expo to speak at each function, to provide LATMA members with an overview of what happened and new technology showcased.

Supplier representatives on the panel include:

  • Peter Petran - RotoMetrics
  • Kevin Murphy - Aldus Engineering
  • David Martin - Avery Dennison (may not do the complete tour)
  • Jouni Komulainen - Raflatac
  • Jame Rodden - Gallus
  • Peter Henderson - Esko
  • Russel Robertson - DES
  • Mark Daws - Curries

The sessions will run for 1.5 to 2 hours. For registration please contact Anita on anita@latma.com.au.
