Large format supply operation Charti is making its second acquisition, buying Queensland based PT Store to boost its presence in the sunshine state following its purchase of Stanton Media a year ago.

PT Store has been operating for 25 years, servicing all of Queensland and northern New South Wales with LFP supplies and services, particularly with HP Designjet’s full range, and the Royal Sovereign Lamination’s exclusive range of equipment. The company has also nurtured strong partnerships with local and state governments.

David Cheng, managing director of Charti said, “This expansion ties in greatly with our aim to become a one-stop shop for all printers around Australia. Moreover, we are thrilled for this opportunity to provide a greater offering to PT Store’s existing customer-base too, which I am confident they will love.”

Owner of PT Store, Ray Deppeler, echoes the same sentiment, saying that “An agreement between myself and David was easily reached when it became apparent that customers would benefit greatly from the combined services to be provided by both organisations. PT Store will offer an enhanced range of media supplies, including a range of Charti & Rojo Pacific product lines.”

PT Store is now operating within Charti, and will also bring in new offerings such as Epson and Mimaki hardware, consumables, and support services.
