We love feedback at Print21Online – none of us more than Andy McCourt who forwards this communication with the title Alcohol in moderation following his piece on eliminating alcohol from the industry last week.
Following on from last week's news commentary on IPA alcohol price hikes,
John Shallvey, National Sales and Marketing Manager with Hurst Australia
points out that some IPA substitutes, such as IMS (Industrial Meths), Glycol and
Glycol Ethers may have negative performance and OH&S implications.
He further mentions that no less a body than FOGRA has awarded Druck
Chemie's Alkogreen the laurels as the worlds first”true Fountain Solution free
from alcohols, glycols or any other chemical component known to have
concerns. There you go.

This great pic is sent in by the inestimable Simon Enticknap, who lives not far from the portion of Parramatta Road in Sydney where these leaping printers do more for the perception of the industry to the general public than a hundred government grants. In the absence of any other contenders it will be the winner of the inaugural Print21 Print Promotion Prize. Nominations are now open and the results will be declared sometime in May at PacPrint. We’re looking at a Perpetual Trophy, so get your entries in to editor@print21.com.au

And finally . . . sometimes a lawyer joke just hits the spot.
What’s the difference between a dead snake on the highway and a dead lawyer on the highway?
There are usually skid marks in front of the snake.
