CMYKhub rolls out national printing hub system

Clive Denholm looks to Western Australia as the latest state for his expanding CMYKhub operation.

Denholm is obviously not deterred by the recent trouble at Worldwide Online’s WA headquarters, which went into administration in February. The founding CEO of WWO announced the opening this week of a new WA production hub as part of CMYKhub’s strategy to provide a national trade-printing network.

“If you’re going to supply a national trade printing service then you really need to be able to supply in each state and WA is so far away we felt it was needed to have a presence there,” he explained. “If there is a job needed in South Australia, we can overnight freight from the Victoria hub; but to get something to Western Australia easily is not easy.”

The WA operation is headed up by Adam Hollister (pictured) and located in East Perth, where it operates with A3 equipment. “It’s smaller than our normal hubs but provides an ability to print on both sides of the country,” Denholm said.

“A growing number of smaller printers are now outsourcing and whilst it is a very competitive market, quality of product and on-time delivery can provide purchasing loyalty for us and our customers.”

CMYKhub, which began in Victoria, recently opened its Sydney hub. Denholm added that a Queensland hub is still in the works and expected to be opened next year.
