Colour standards made simple
A lay person’s guide to how colour standards can be set up in a printing company will be the focus of a dinner seminar in Sydney during September.
The You Can Do it! Printing Colour Standard, The Complete Pathway seminar is being staged by Printing Industries and the Lithographic Institute of Australia (LIA) as a follow-up to the Colour Standards TC-130 Committee event in November last year featuring Fogra representative Andreas Krausher.
As a result of that presentation, considerable awareness of the new Australian Standard AS ISO 12647.2 was created prompting the development of this seminar to explain in lay terms how to achieve the certification.
The seminar will focus on the Australian print industry, the methods that have been used and what the result of using this Australian Standard/International Standard is. It aims to delve into what you need to prepare, what is expected and how long the path is to this internationally recognised standard.
All attendees will receive a Take Away Check List to help them take the necessary steps within their business.
The event will allowing attendees to:
* Learn the process to achieving AS ISO 12647.2 certification in their workplace.
* Hear why the AS ISO 12647.2 standard is being used from a print buyer?s perspective.
* Hear how a local printer has benefited by investing and achieving certification.
Bookings are now open for the dinner seminar which will be held at Five Dock RS: Club on Tuesday 22 September from 6pm. Tickets are $70 each and can be reserved by contacting Lima at Printing Industries on (02) 8789 7300 or e-mail: lima@printnet.com.au Bookings must close on Friday 18 September.
