Colourscan fades to black
After trading within the print industry for 25 years, well established Brisbane-based Colourscan has closed its doors.
Jeff Osborne, owner of Colourscan said the decision to close up shop was because “we believe it is no longer viable to continue our manufacturing operations in Queensland.”
“We have assisted our staff to find other employment and now all assets’ are for sale as the process of closure begins.”
Prior to closure, the large company had three branches in addition to its Brisbane head office. The Queensland branches were located in Mackay and the Sunshine Coast, and the other was in Sydney.

Colourscan worked with a complete range of pre-press, CTP, offset machinery, bindery collation, pick and pack lines, as well as a despatch and logistics system.
These machines were used to produce brochures, stationary forms, resource manuals, large distribution projects, catalogues, coupons and point of purchase material.
