Complete Colour makes a clean sweep with Heidelberg press

The trip to IGAS was well worth it for both Melbourne printing company Complete Colour and Heidelberg.

Geoff Lawyer, managing director of Complete Colour purchased a Heidelberg SM102-10-P which he described as "a natural progression for the company and compliments our plant perfectly."

The SM102-10-P is a full alcohol-free press which fits well with Complete Colour's environmental ethos and dedication. Lawyer believes that this press will satisfy customers who chose their printer based on environmental standards.

"[It] will enable us to keep pace with the growth in demand we are experiencing from customers who are supportive of our environmental policies," he said.

Alastair Hadley, general manager of sales, Heidelberg Australia and New Zealand said that the sale to Complete Colour is indicative of an emerging trend for mid-sized companies to embrace to latest long perfector technology in order to compete with the larger end of town.

"We are seeing more companies in this mid-rang bracket adopting long perfector technology," Hadley said.

"We anticipate an increase in the number of printers adopting more green practices without forsaking productivity an profits in the future."
