Complete Colour Printing leaves its footprint in Karkarook Park

85 members from Melbourne's Complete Colour Printing made their way to Karkarook Park in Heatherton on 8 September for a day of tree planting.

Employees, clients, suppliers and their families all worked together, resulting in 2540 new plants being added to Karkarook Park. "With that amount of manpower the trees got planted very quickly," explained Gemma Harbutt, marketing coordinator.

Complete Colour has signed a contract with Parks Victoria, committing to a three-year sponsorship to aid with the development of Karkarook Park. As part of this commitment, Complete Colour will donate 6000 plants over the next three years and its group of volunteers will be continually helping to revegetate the park.

This sponsorship is a park of the community involvement component of the company's environmental management system and aims to improve its level of corporate social responsibility. Tim Michaelidies, managing director, said that he looked forward to working closely on the Karkarook Park project.

"It's nice to be able to give something back to the community we operate within. Helping develop Karkarook Park this year and in the future is a satisfying and rewarding project that we are happy to be involved in," he said.

"We'd like to thank our employees, clients and suppliers who attended and helped make the day a huge success."
