CopyWise smartens up with Fuji Xerox 700 press

New 700 Digital Color at Melbourne-based CopyWise marks Fuji Xerox’s 700th installation of the popular press.

According to CopyWise director Bruce Dess, who purchased the business three years ago, the decision to buy a new press was a way of offering higher quality and better turnaround times.

“Our second office in Mt Waverley is now providing a lot more work for us, and that’s why we needed to upgrade,” he said. “Already, we’ve found that the 700 Digital Color Press delivers better print quality than any of our previous machines. Our product base is also changing — it’s more corporate now, which was part of our plan when we moved the business from its original premises. After our research, we felt that the 700 Digital Color Press was the right machine to handle the type and volume of work we now receive.”

Mark Williams, marketing manager – light production colour at Fuji Xerox Australia, believes that the 700th installation of the 700 Digital Color Press is a significant milestone for the company.

“Over 700 businesses in Australia are now taking advantage of the flexibility and extensive capabilities of the Fuji Xerox 700 Digital Color Press,” Williams said.

“The average monthly print volume of the 700 installations has increased 12 per cent since its launch – a very positive result for all those businesses which have experienced growth since they installed the 700 Digital Color Press. This clearly demonstrates that the digital print market continues to grow.”
