Countdown to Print Awareness course

Only a couple of days are left to register for the new look Printing
Industries
' NSW Print Awareness courses.

Following feedback from participants, the course has been split into three 'bite'-size, one-day courses

The new workshops are Print Awareness – File Preparation for Prepress,
Print Awareness – Print Production Techniques and Print Awareness –
Designing for Print.

Printing Industries' national manager, learning and development, Simon
Peppercorn, said the courses were designed to equip participants with a
broad understanding of commercial print.

He said the new format was attracting interest from print buyers as well printing company employees.

"The new 'bite-size' courses allow participants to focus on particular areas of relevance and understand a greater level of detail in each specific area," he said.

"The end result is a better communication of client printing needs, improved understanding  of production constraints and greater co-operation between client and printer in producing a finished product that will make everyone happy."

The courses are held at Printing Industries' Sydney office at Auburn with the Print Production Techniques workshop scheduled for Friday 13 February and File Preparation for Prepress workshop on Monday 16 February. Arrangements can also be made for on-site delivery.
