CPI Paper expands after company reorganisation

Fine paper merchant brings iconic grades such as Titan, Opal and Brilliant under the 'new CPI Paper banner.'

The well-known Edward Dunlop badge will now focus on packaging grades, the group’s web offer and the significant office products division. The move comes as the second largest paper merchant in the region streamlines its operating divisions and unveils a Brand makeover.

CPI Group now operates eight distinct areas of specialization; CPI Paper, CPI Graphics, CPI Inks, Boomerang Paper, Raleigh, Ed Office Products and Edwards Dunlop Packaging.

The transfer of Edwards Dunlop fine papers to the ‘new again’ CPI Paper brand consolidates the division as a major mainstream paper supplier with one of the largest ranges. It follows CPI Group’s takeover of Red Paper (i.e. Raleigh & Edwards Dunlop) last year and the appointment of industry veteran Greg Street as general manager of CPI Paper.

In realizing the synergies between the two mainstream brand merchants, the Group says it has gained efficiencies and will deliver better service to its customers. Selective polling of the customer base has seen ‘CPI Paper’ re emerge as the future brand of the merged large paper distributor and consolidation of the back-end functional areas will see CPI Paper positioned to grow.
