Creo Positive Thermal Plates setting the standard

After 18 months of beta testing at selected customer sites around the world, Creo is now supplying its own optimised printing plates to the industry.

In response to one of the most keenly awaited product releases ever, many local printers have expressed keen interest in trialling the new plates. According to Mark Wilton, Creo Australia, New Zealand marketing manager, the local industry is looking forward to working with the new plates.

“We have had a very good response to the PTP announcement from our customer base. Over the next year we will be introducing the benefits of using this industry-leading thermal plate to the Australian and New Zealand industries,” he said. “It is part of Creo’s strategy to provide customers with a complete, end-to-end digital prepress solution, including sales, service logistics, and support.”

Optimised for use with industry-leading Creo Computer-To-Plate (CTP) output devices such as the Trendsetter and Lotem platesetters, Creo PTP are designed to get the most from the market leader Creo systems. “But in saying this it is another option for customers amongst the twenty plus certified plates already approved on the market that are compatible with Creo CTP devices, we can and will provide the solution that best fits the customers needs,” Wilton continues.

Creo Positive Thermal Plates (PTP) will be available for testing in Australia in November and will be ready for commercial delivery early in the New Year.

The specifications for PTP demonstrate its ability to offer consistent on-press performance and ease-of-use, thereby helping you maximize your productivity and profitability.
