Currie Group bundles Horizon finishing with HP Indigo 7r

Currie Group has a new special offer for print businesses looking to implement HP Indigo digital print technology, offering a bundled deal with a reconditioned HP Indigo 7r, and free Horizon creaser folder or perfecting binding system.

The offer is available for a limited time only while stocks last. Phillip Rennell, sales and marketing director at Currie Group said, “For print businesses this represents a great deal, enabling them to install the best in digital printing and finishing at a price point that they will find surprising.”

The HP Indigo 7r Digital Press is the commercial sheetfed digital press in SRA3 size. The pre-owned machines are reconditioned by HP Indigo at its factory in Israel and are fully warranted. Currie Group says they represent an opportunity to print with Indigo for a reduced investment level.

The Horizon CRF-362 Creaser Folder has been designed to handle the requirements of creasing and folding digital colour output across a wide range of light and heavy weight stocks, coated or uncoated. Creasing and folding can be done in one pass for accurate processing of a variety of applications such as restaurant menus, greeting cards, book covers, and marketing collateral.

Capable of up to ten crease lines on a sheet, the system uses an impact scoring technology that eliminates or minimises cracking of the stock or printed image. Set-up and changeovers – including fold pattern, creasing number, and up/down crease selection – can be easily achieved through the high resolution colour touch screen designed for simple and intuitive operation.

Horizon’s BQ-280PUR perfect binder is specially designed to handle the requirements of digital print – with digital print friendly processing, quick set-up and changeover for shorter production runs, book-of-one capability, and even in-line verification for document integrity. The BQ-280 also uses environmentally friendly PUR glue which meets the requirements of Lay-Flat binding for both offset and digital prints as well as coated stock.
