Currie’s new Sydney showroom gets its HP Indigo 7500

Currie Group is throwing the doors of its new Macquarie Park showroom wide open to allow customers to see its flagship press, the HP Indigo 7500 in action.

Whilst the move to new premises was not a long way from the previous location, Bernie Robinson, Currie Group’s Managing Director believes Macquarie Park is much better for our customers, and that the new site provides us with a great location and facility for demonstrating the latest in Currie Group’s comprehensive product range.

Andrew Ward, Currie Group’s State Manager for NSW says the success of its HP Indigo customers, relies profoundly on the strength of the product. The buyers and end users feel they are getting real value from digital printing with HP Indigo.

“Now that we have the flagship HP Indigo press on our premises, we invite all our customers to come in and see firsthand how the HP Indigo 7500 can help create business opportunities, and drive business growth. We encourage customers to bring in a file so that we can print it and demonstrate the benefits of this technology,” he says.



The HP Indigo 7500 is the most productive sheetfed press in the HP Indigo range, highly geared for commercial printers who need to increase their service offering to their customers in order to meet the changing needs of the market demand for short run and variable data printing. The 7500 can print on a variety of substrates and is the only digital press today that can match and run spot colours.

‘With the look and feel of offset in a fraction of the time, and as competition for retail dollars is strong, we are finding that more marketers are looking to utilise personalisation in their print collaterals for an improved product that communicates directly with its end user; that is what is driving our success in the marketplace” says Ward.

The new showroom also features the full spread of Horizon finishing equipment, from folders right through to stitch-liners. This equipment highly complements the HP Indigo range of products and is geared for small to medium sized enterprises.
