Now, Mac users can also use a single programme to make all corrections and modifications - including transparencies and soft edges. The O.R.I.S. Page parser is capable of interpreting any PDF 1.3 and PS Level 3 document independent of the DTP programme used to create the pages. All page elements - text, images, graphics, paths - are converted to editable high-resolution objects and separate layers.



O.R.I.S. Page offers all means for page assembly, refinement of layouts from other vendors and for digital image editing in one single program.

Integrated Image Manipulation And Page Layout
Tasks for which formerly several programs were required can now be completed with one single program. You can now perform all functions on the page and e.g. precisely control the composition of a shadow or transparent surfaces in relation to all the other page elements. Switching between image manipulation and layout programs is a thing of the past.

O.R.I.S. Page supplies you with comfortable page layout and image assembly, grids for page layout, composition of geometric elements with colors, vignettes, transparencies and soft edges. Even the image manipulation tool leaves nothing to be desired: scaling, rotating, mirroring, copying, perspective distortion. There are no limits to your creative fantasy. Complex tasks in the area of DTP can now be solved more quickly, more simply, better and therefore more productively.

O.R.I.S. Page meets the most demanding requirements in terms of image manipulation. Gradation changes and color corrections can be applied to an entire image, to masked areas or within the brush. Brush size, type or density is variable within a wide range. The precise creation of masks is possible with different tools which work automatically if the contrast is sufficient. There are, of course, also particularly attractive features such as intensification of dominant colors, edge enhancement and various effect filters. All operations can be carried out in a transparent or opaque mode and are applicable to single, several or all color separations.

Text Setting
O.R.I.S. Page provides extensive text setting functionality. It allows setting of text in any paths including hyphenation and the definition of global and local style sheets. Of course hyphenation supports different languages within one document. Multi-column text is realized by linking several text areas.
With O.R.I.S. Page text areas may not only be colored as tint, you can also insert color gradations or images to which, of course, you can apply transparencies or soft edges.

Unlimited Digital Image Effects
An almost unlimited variety of effects for image editing is now at your hands. By using Photoshop compatible Plugin filters you have access to an enormous image filter library. O.R.I.S. Page supports Plugins from a large variety of producers, e.g. Adobe, Kai's Power Tools and many more.

Editing of PDF and PostScript Documents
The O.R.I.S. Page Interpreter converts DTP documents into separate objects. Many of the modifications and layout effects which are difficult to manage with DTP programs can be applied interactively to them.

Final Page Creation
The use of O.R.I.S. Page guarantees a stable production environment as it allows you to create different output formats. Of course, there are PostScript and EPS, but O.R.I.S. Page offers more:
