CyraChrome pushes the colour edge
A new range of flat-panel colour critical graphic arts monitors will change the way graphic arts professionals look at their work.
The Eizo LCD colour technology allows designers and prepress operators to rid their desks of bulky CRT monitors without loss of viewing quality. While everyone recognises the advantages of wide-angle LCD displays this is the first time graphic arts professionals can gain the benefits without loss of colour accuracy.

According to Michael Laird, (pictured) managing director, CyraChrome, which has been appointed exclusive dealer of Eizo in the printing industry in Australia, the graphic arts industry is moving steadily towards soft proofing and real-world display colour accuracy. “Every designer wants to be sure that the image displayed on the monitor will be translated to the printed product. LCD screens are not only space saving, energy efficient, and able to be viewed from any angle, but with the Eizo technology they provide calibrated certainty for critical colour applications.”
