DES boosts its ISO resources

Following multiple training trips to Germany, DES is proud to announce the first Australian and New Zealand ISO proofing Certification hat trick.

Emphasising the DES commitment to delivering innovation in local markets, DES technicians have been independently trained and certified by FOGRA to set up EFI & CGS proofing RIPS according to the exacting ISO standards. In addition to EFI and CGS ISO certified technicians, DES also supply a broad range of FOGRA certified ISO 12647-7 Proofing Media.

Russell Cavenagh, sales director, DES commented: "This is a great achievement for DES, and for our customers, ISO 12647-7 is the number one category for proofing medias as it is designed to optimise proofing from publishing to packaging.   I am confident the new certifications will result in major time & cost savings to our customers."

Number One - EFI Colorproof XF ISO Certification

The EFI ISO certification ensures that DES set up standardised systems using EFI Colorproof XF to produce ISO compliant proofs, guaranteeing high quality and reliability. The certification ensures, publishers, printing houses, prepress businesses and their customers understand and receive evidence that their proofs have been produced to an international standard.

Number Two - CGS Oris Color Tuner ISO Certification
Fresh of the back of this first achievement, DES has made further investments with FOGRA and CGS to ensure all its installed base of CGS proofing systems can also be ISO Certified. providing the same benefits for prepress, printing companies and brand owner end users.

"DES is very pleased to be able to offer full ISO compliance for the two leading proofing systems in Australia and New Zealand. ISO are the peak industry standardisation body and they set a very high standard in compliance which we look forward to introducing into the ANZ markets," said  Cavenagh.

Number Three - Precision 260 FOGRA Certification

To complete the hat-trick, DES's proofing media range, Chromajet has received successful ISO Certified ticks of approval on 3 stocks, after being independently tested by FOGRA in accordance with the ISO Substrate guidelines.
