DES gets ready to unveil new technology at PrintEx

Ulrich Kolnik of Just Normlicht, Germany, will be presenting on colour accurate viewing solutions and the new Just Colour Communicator 2. The Colour Communicator 2 includes a light booth and adjust monitor calibration software, designed for the colour matching of a soft proof and proof between a monitor and viewing booth.

Controlled by the Luminance Level Control, which monitors and re-adjusts its light booth’s luminance level to maintain computerised settings, the Colour Communicator 2 now makes it possible for the image on the monitor and the printout to be compared directly under standardised light.

Just Normlicht appointed DES as their distributor for the Australian and New Zealand markets. "The Colour Communicator 2 is a key part in any soft proofing workflow, " said Russell Cavenagh, sales director, DES. "Just has correctly identified the crucial ingredient needed for soft proofing."
