DES highlights industry partners at drupa 2008

For two weeks between May 29th and June 11th, Düsseldorf will be the centre of attention for the print world. With over 1,800 exhibitors covering 1.8 million square feet of exhibit space, 400,000 expected visitors and some 3,500 journalists from around the world, drupa 2008 will be larger than ever before, and DES is proud to highlight what our industry partners are showcasing at this exciting event:

Accura (Hall 9, Stand No.D26/12)
In addition to showing the latest version 4.20 of the core product, Accura are pleased to announce the release of Accura-Online the exciting new tool added to the current suite of available modules.

Asahi Kasei (Hall 5, Stand No.D20)
Asahi products are now widely used in all over the world. The company will be launching the latest range of photopolymers at drupa. The new water washout plates and continuous sleeve system will also be showcased.

AVT (Hall 3, Stand No.F69)
Advanced Vision Technology (AVT) will be launching new solutions for variety of printing applications at drupa. The company will introduce a new version of the PrintVision/Helios with enhanced capabilities for labels and narrow web inspection. PrintVision/Orion and PrintVison/Jupitor will also be showcased.

CGS (Hall 8b, Stand No.A40)
CGS will be demonstrating the latest developments of colour proofing, colour management and workflow at drupa 2008. The presentation will focus on innovations concerning the ORIS Hybrid Proofing product group.

Colortrac (Hall 8a, Stand No.B46)
Colortrac Ltd has been invited by Canon Europe to demonstrate their latest high definition SmartLF product range running Colortrac ScanWorks and CopySmart software at drupa 2008.

EFI (Hall 5, Stand No.C01)
EFI will be showcasing its most extensive range of productivity and revenue generating print solutions ever. Visitors will experience the industry's broadest array of leading digital solutions, from the latest Fiery(r), VUTEk(r) and Jetrion(r) digital printing innovation to the Print MIS and web-to-print solutions.

IST (Hall 3, Stand No.F30 )
IST products are being successfully used by customers all over the world. The company will showcase the new large volume 600 litre solvent recovery system, as well as the upgraded range of solvent recovery and washing systems.

Jetrion (Part of EFI, Hall 5, stand No.C01)
The Jetrion 4000 UV Inkjet System is a unique industrial inkjet printer which offers label converters an affordable, full-colour narrow web alternative to toner-based digital printers for label runs of up to 50,000 labels. The 3025 UV Inkjet System will also be showcased, this enables inkjet printing of bar codes and other types of variable data at multiple locations on the press, while running at standard production speeds.

JUST (Hall 5, Stand No.B23)
JUST will show visitors how standardisation based on ISO standards integrate into the whole printing process. The company will introduce the new portable standardized lighting solution - COLOR MASTER, and there will be highlights of a complete range of computer controlled lighting for soft and remote proofing purposes.

Mellow Colours (Hall 9, Stand No.C78)
Mellow Colour Ltd will release the latest version of the popular PrintSpec ISO 12647 colour quality control & verification software at drupa 2008. PrintSpec allows Printers to generate comprehensive ISO 12647 pass/fail reports generated from the small PrintSpec strip placed along with production CMYK printed work.

Mimaki (Hall 8B, Stand No.A03)
Mimaki is proud to showcase their new UV-curable inkjet printers, among the innovations to be demonstrated is the UJF-605RII, it has mastered the balancing act between accurate proofing on original media and reliable short run production of flexible packaging products.

X-Rite (Hall 5, Stand No.D02)
X-Rite will showcase the industry's key solutions to address colour management and communication throughout the production value supply chain - from inspiration to output, from concept to consumer.
