DES introduces Accura to the locals

Accura chooses DES to be its MIS distributor throughout Australia and New Zealand.

After capturing audiences' attention at PacPrint 05 and this year's PrintEx, Accura felt it was time to make a move on the local market and DES was delighted to be enlisted to help.

"We are extremely pleased to be appointed the ANZ distributor for the Accura MIS products," said Russell Cavenagh, sales director, DES. "Accura has done a masterful job of developing the product with quoting, estimating and workflows for the hybrid digital and litho markets in mind."

Cavenagh points to accelerating workflows, financial savings and increased accuracy as the benefits of Accura. Its key features include a modern multitasking Windows XP interface, a short learning curve of 2-3days, low ongoing support costs and integral WYSIWYG layout designer.

With 14 systems already installed throughout print groups in Australia, Cavenagh believes that the local market is embracing Accura.

"The early response has been very pleasing with several existing users calling and congratulating us on being appointed," he said. "I feel very humble and honoured to have customers demonstrating that kind of loyalty."
