Design competition offers head start for student artists
Student artists and designers have the chance to showcase their best work in this year’s stArt competition.
An initiative of the not-for-profit University Co-operative Bookshop, the competition is aimed at assisting students about the enter the workforce as artists and designers.
This year’s competition includes three categories: fine arts, which includes painting, drawing, screen prints, etching – anything created by hand, photomedia – analogue or digital or alternative process photomedia methods and digital media – illustration and graphic design created on and manipulated by a computer.
Students who enter will be in the running to win a $200 co-op bookshop voucher and have their work published as a greeting card. Entries close 30 April. For more information visit here.
