DES will be showcasing its latest technology at The Digital Show in Melbourne later this month, with the company set to demonstrate the new generation spectrographic equipment, Chromajet photo-papers, and fine art papers it is now supplying to the Australian marketplace.

The Digital Show, produced in partnership with the Photo Marketing Association (PMA) and held from May 25-27, will provide an ideal forum for DES to unveil one of its newest entries in the local market, the X-Rite Solutions’ i1Pro2 spectro, which has been described as the next generation of spectrographic technology.

DES’ managing director, Ian Clare (pictured), says that among the new products to be unveiled at the show, “a highlight will be two ground breaking product launches - of our new Eclipse museum grade, OBA free bright white canvas and the debut of X-Rite Solutions’ i1Pro2, the next generation of spectro.”

Additionally, the company will be debuting its new range of Hahnemühle range of digital fine art papers, and Chromajet resin coated photo-papers, both products that highlight DES’ involvement with the industry’s journey from analogue to digital processes.

“In many cases we have been on the cutting edge of technology, having led the analogue to digital transformation in many of the markets we serve: technical design, graphic arts, and of course in the photographic area,” says Clare.

The Digital Show will run from May 25-27 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
