DIC creates new graphics division
DIC calls in Jason Kent to head up its new graphics division.
Previously, DIC's offset division consisted of three main subdivisions: coldest, heatset and sheetfed, with the graphics portfolio managed jointly by sheetfed and web divisions. Following a restructure 12 months ago, the company recognised the need for a specific focus on the graphics area.

Kent (pictured) has been appointed as graphics business manager where he will focus on strengthening the new division's presence in Australian and New Zealand. "To join such a large organisation like DIC is very exciting and a great opportunity for me," he said. "Now that I have taken on this role I will be working with our inks specialist to closely align the two products to provide the best fit for our customers."
Ian Johns, offset director of DIC, welcomed Kent on board. "[He] brings considerable experience of this market to DIC," he said. "We look forward to an exciting future as we strive to match our graphics portfolio with our inks portfolio - to offer best fit for performance, cost and quality to the ANZ marketplace."
