drupa unwrapped goes online

Online registrations are now available for the drupa unwrapped roadshow being staged in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth during July.

Printing Industries' national communications and technical services manager, Joe Kowalewski, said roadshow details were now available on the association's website, www.printnet.com.au and include venues and session times.

"While each session will feature a comprehensive overview of major drupa releases, each will also be unique in providing perspectives from local printers who attended drupa," he said.

"They will also run at differing times to suit the individual timing preferences of members in the states concerned. In this way the sessions will have a wide appeal across all company demographics from owners to production staff.

"Over coming weeks we will be highlighting some of what attendees will be seeing and hearing so that non drupa visitors can get a real feel  for what happened at the world's biggest printing industry exhibition."

Major suppliers presenting include AGFA, Currie & Co and Hewlett Packard, Fuji Xerox, Heidelberg, Tharstern Australia and Océ-Australia.

The Brisbane session will be a cocktail style function held at the Queensland Rugby Union Club on Wednesday 9 July from 4pm-7pm. Melbourne on Wednesday 16 July will be a breakfast session from 7am at the Novatel Hotel, Springvale Road, Glen Waverley; Perth on Wednesday 23 July a cocktail function from 5.30pm at the State Tennis Centre, Victoria Park Drive, Burswood and Sydney a breakfast session from 7.30am on Tuesday 29 July at the Mecure Hotel, Hassell Street, Parramatta.
