DS Chemport keeps rollin’ out blankets

Press chemistry manufacturer, DS Chemport chosen as exclusive distributor for Rollin blanket range.

The distributorship, which takes place from 1 May, adds Trelleborg’s Rollin brand of printing blanket to its stable of Vulcan blankets.

“Trelleborg has shown great faith not only in our excellent customer relationships and ability to grow the existing marketshare, but also in our converting expertise,” said commercial director, Ken Rendell.

Since Trelleborg acquired the blanket business of MacDermid Printing Solutions in 2008, a consolidation process has taken place worldwide, resulting in the recent appointment of DS Chemport as the exclusive distributor in Australia and New Zealand (via Fujifilm Chemicals).

According to a statement from DS Chemport, Rollin users have already been informed of the changing of hands and a large number have already had dealings with the company previously. DS Chemport has already added further capacity to its Melbourne headquarters to support the changes.
