Dynamic growth opens CMYKhub NSW opportunity

Above-target sales growth for the first six months makes Clive Denholm consider management options for  the vibrant printing hub business.

The NSW 'for trade' printing business opened in April this year and has already grown to over $500,000 a month sales. It is well on track to replicate the same level of success as the CMYKhub in Victoria.

Denholm (pictured) considers the success to be another vindication of his business model. He puts it down to competitive pricing "with great quality and service."

"It is amazing how really caring about customers and ensuring you do everything within your power to making sure you meet their needs can result in return business and recommendations," he said. "Being trade-only has really helped. We have found that a lot of customers have switched to us from wholesalers that run retail operations as well."

He is now considering the options as to how the business should be managed going forward. Having taken a hands on role since he established the business he believes now is the right time to put new management in place.

"It is time for me to hand over the day-to-day operation of  CMYKhub NSW. There are a number of management options that could work, such as an owner franchise, the same as in Victoria. Or it could present a good opportunity for someone committed to the success of the business to come in on a management basis. Or a combination of both.

"What is important is to have the right type of individual with drive, energy and time to commit taking the business to the next level," he said.

He is interested in hearing from suitably qualified industry professionals who want to run their own show. Denholm can be contacted on clive.denholm@cmykhub.com
