EFI is looking to buy new businesses
Mark Adams’ writ is to identify growth markets, potential acquisitions and to close the deals. He has already been working with the firm as a consultant over the past few months.
"Mark has already added tremendous value to EFI while working with us as a consultant," said EFI chief executive Guy Gecht. "We've benefited from his broad experience and meticulous research, as well as from the creative new business development ideas he has brought to our discussions."
In the past EFI has enlarged its original RIP business, based around the industry benchmark Fiery, with the takeover of MIS company Printcafe, micropress specialist T/R Systems and proofing company, Best. The company is on record as declaring it wants to expand its ‘Essential to Print’ strategy by developing further print management products.
