Envelopes fly out of CMYKhub

Print production of envelopes has quadrupled for CMYKhub with the investment of a dedicated full colour envelope press with continuous feeder and delivery.

Specialising in overprinting envelopes from DL to B4 in full colour, the new Ryobi 4 Colour press helps support its national customer base by allowing a two to four day time to despatch on most jobs.

Clive Denholm, founder of CMYKHub says it has been printing envelopes for over a year now. “We have added this capacity as more and more printers are outsourcing products that can be manufactured cheaper externally,

“The recent failure of a major envelope supplier has meant current envelope suppliers have needed to increase capacity, as it is something a lot of printers prefer not to print in-house.”

Printing envelopes requires the press operator to change printing blankets after running the job, if your next job is sheet work.
