Envi turns out carbon neutral pages of green book

Publisher releases Australia's first carbon neutral book, Climate Change - What You Can Do About It.

Written by scientists, Paul Holper and Dr Simon Torok, and published by Pan Macmillan and CSIRO, the book's text is printed on ENVI 100 per cent carbon neutral paper, made by Australian Paper.

Developed two years ago by staff from Australian Paper's Wesley Vale Mill in Tasmania, the carbon neutral paper and book has attracted praised from the Tasmanian Minister for Economic Development and Tourism, Paula Wriedt.

"Congratulations must go to Australian Paper on the work they have done in developing their exciting new Envi brand of carbon neutral paper," she said.

"This initiative provides an opportunity for all users of printing and writing paper to reconsider their paper purchasing and support a climate-friendly product."
