Epson will bring its product expo to western Sydney in November, featuring its range of photographic, fine art, signage, direct to garment, dye sublimation, and technical printers.
The event is the latest in a series that kicked off in Melbourne last year, and aims to give printers in Sydney's west a chance to see Epson products up close and personal. "The main objective is to take Epson solutions to the people, provide an environment where people can see Epson printers working," said Nathan Fulcher, marketing communications manager at Epson. "We also want to give people in Western Sydney an opportunity, especially small businesses, to see our products 'in the flesh' without having to go all the way into the city."
The expo will feature wide and small format solutions, including dye sublimation and direct-to-garment for textiles, eco-solvent for signage, and graphics and fine art production printers. On-site demonstrations from expert staff will help customers make decisions about potential purchases, says Fulcher: "Printing is a very hands-on thing - it’s a skill, it’s an art. If someone is thinking of purchasing or upgrading equipment it’s important to be able to see how that equipment works in person, as well as have any questions answered.
"There’ll be quite a few very knowledgeable people there over those two days," he said.
The event will run from 7am to 7pm on November 15 and 16, at Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club in Colbee. Visitors are free to drop in any time, but Epson recommends RSVPing to rwarby@epson.com.au by November 6.
