Epson snaps up photography sponsorship

The news comes after Epson announced that it will become the major sponsor of QCAGV, providing the university with new Stylus Pro 9800, 7800 and 4800 printers, along with technical advice and support.

Working with photography requires access to superior printers and technology, according to Epson's business unit manager, Craig Heckenberg. "We know it is vital for students to work with the best printers, inks and media to ensure they are fully competent with the equipment they are most likely to be working with when they start their careers," he said.

Students will benefit greatly from this new equipment, according to David Lloyd, senior lecturer, who acknowledged and praised Epson's contribution.

"The generosity of Epson has ensured that Griffith graduates remain up-to-date with technology and gives them a head start when they begin working in their respective professions," he said.
