At 21, Rex Pemberton became the youngest Australian to make the ascent of the world’s highest mountain; today he mixes his leadership of the Peak Teams mountaineering programs with a passion for motivating people to discover and utilise the power of achieving goals.
A recipient of Australian Geographic’s Young Adventurer Award, Rex has over forty officially recognised mountain ascents, including Mount Cook and Mount Aspiring in New Zealand, the Matterhorn and Mount Blanc in the European Alps and many others. All of those climbs required a drive to achieve what others dare not hope, coupled with meticulous planning and execution.
