Feast on this – Fuji Xerox open continuous feed centre

Aimed at commercial print providers, in-plant print operations and service bureaus, the high-speed black and white and colour equipment will provide an alternative to rival Océ's recent product releases.

“The continuous feed support and development centre will allow our team of highly skilled project managers to not only support the installation, but also work in collaboration with our customers to develop new opportunities for business growth,” said Chris Aked, marketing manager of Fuji Xerox monochrome production solutions.

“The centre will be one of competence with the best-of-breed continuous feed solutions in operation. Our flagship technology offerings will include a number of monochrome solutions as well as the world’s fastest toner-based digital web colour solution.”

According to Aked, continuous feed solutions have shown a high acceptance, particularly within the newspaper and trans-promo markets in Europe and America. “We predict a similar trend here in Australia and forecast a great future for Fuji Xerox’s continuous feed print solutions,” he said.

The new continuous feed centre will focus on the transactional, promotional, digital book printing and newspaper market.

“We are currently finalising some of these, but certainly we will be engaging with different vertical industries and examining the benefits of continuous feed technologies,” he said.
