The first event for the newly relaunched Women in Print group is taking place this afternoon (Thursday), with registration free and available for the nationwide webinar.

President of Women in Print: Susan Heaney taking part in the Patron Panel tomorrow

The first Patron Panel event, a webinar discussion with the Patrons from each state, will be held at 4pm today. All women across the industry are welcome to join.

The first Patrons Panel event will be available to listen to live, or by downloading the recorded webinar discussion. To register click here or follow the social channels – LinkedIn and Instagram – @womeninprintaus.

There will be some major announcements, as the Women in Print brand refresh has created a lot of conversation, renewed passion, and engagement.

Recently registering as an independent entity, Women in Print includes all Patrons – Susan Heaney (QLD), president of WiP, Sandy Aspinall (SA) vice president, Natalie Taylor (NSW), Kirsten Taylor (VIC), Marisa Symrneos (SA) and Lisa Blachut (WA) – who will make themselves available to talk about the new vision for Women in Print.

Kellie Northwood, CEO, The Real Media Collective, will facilitate the panel discussion and is excited to leave no stone unturned in the discussion. “I know all these ladies well and have a few gems to throw out there to keep the discussion lively. It is a great start and a refreshing opportunity as we move through the pandemic recovery period to focus on the year ahead of us and what we need from each other to thrive rather than simply survive,” Northwood said.

The Panel will be exploring the four key pillars – community, knowledge, network, and support. What these mean and how the women in print community can add to their experience and value of the organisation.

“I want to thank our sponsors over the years for their commitment and passion, we are still working with finalising our support partners and will definitely be highlighting the sponsors that have agreed to sign on at our first Patron Panel event, as well as some new announcements which include opportunities for us all. This is such a vibrant community movement, every day since the launch we’ve received feedback and ideas. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have the women in print community so engaged. It’s a wonderful start,” Northwood said.
