First Rastek wide format press sold to Pegasus Print Group
Pegasus Print Group widens its with reach with installation of Rastek H700 press from Imedia.
The Rastek H700 wide format press is the first to be sold in New South Wales by Imedia, a Melbourne-based company that sells machines from Roland, Epson, Canon, HP and Isign Digital Signage and was acquired by PaperlinX two years ago. According to Tim Beitsch of Imedia, the Rastek machine can produce up to 29 square metres per hour with 1200 by 900 dpi.
“The key advantage for Pegasus is that this machine will allow them to bring the production of wide format products in house,” said Beitsch. “It offers quicker lead times and give them entry into new markets.”

Wayne Finkelde, (pictured), chief executive officer of Pegasus Print Group, believes that the machine, which was installed at the company’s Blacktown premises three weeks ago, was an important investment.
“The Rastek was a good introductory machine for us with great flexibility,” he said. “We purchased it as a way of enhancing our digital machines. We’re getting a lot of fast turnaround work and wanted to be able to meet customer’s deadlines.”
With plans to roll out Imedia across the east coast next month and nationally by next year, Beitsch hopes that the sale to Pegasus Print Group will only be the start of things to come.
