First Ricoh C901 installs showcased at Sydney launch

Kate Cebrano, Annie Libowitz and Kathy Wilson starred in a glittering night at the MCA to officially introduce Ricoh’s latest colour production engine.

The jam-packed audience of customers from all over the country celebrated the technology event. Kathy Wilson, general manager Business Solutions and Production, gave an impassioned presentation, clearly demonstrating her in-depth industry knowledge and expertise.

The C901 is the spearhead of Ricoh’s digital colour campaign. With a substantial marketshare in B&W, especially in-plant, Ricoh is now gunning to drive colour production pages, The C901 is the second iteration of its top of the range engine and the second to leverage the 90 ppm as a production machine.

"The Ricoh Pro C901 is a result of observing trends in the marketplace and listening to the needs of our customers," said Wilson (pictured). "Our customers asked for a device that produces accurate, high resolution output at fast speeds, along with the automation that comes from our world-leading inline finishing. The Ricoh Pro C901 Graphic Arts Edition is the result."

The Pro C0901 has a monthly duty cycle of 580,000 and utilises new toner, engine and digital front end (DFE) technology.
