Flying Colours spreads its online wings
Expansion on the horizon for the Tasmanian printer, as it takes over the 300 square meter space next door for its picking and distribution centre.
According to managing director, Craig Pearce, the growth was a necessity based on its expansion into doing print management for its clients.
“In a nutshell, we are now online. All of our clients are online and purchase their requirements across Tasmania and the mainland. We distribute daily and this is a massively expanding area for us,” he says.
The storage facility expansion will begin next month. At the moment Flying Colours is storing stock elsewhere. The new operation should be up and running early next year.
“It’s been a high growth area for the past four years and is still growing, which means we will need to invest in more equipment in the future to cope with our packaging requirements. Online has increased not only our turnover, but also our client list,” he says.
