Fuji Xerox announces three new partners

“Fuji Xerox has chosen to partner with Nuance, Captaris and BEAR Solutions as they are all leaders in their respective fields,” said Roger Pearce, marketing manager, Fuji Xerox. “This is a key success factor in our strategy to provide total solutions to our customers.”

The solutions include OmniPager(r), Captaris RightFax, Captaris Alchemy and XCMS for Apeos and cover scanning, faxing, document management and cost recovery. Managed from one or more centralised servers and accessed via Apeos Port MFDs, the solutions enable seamless integration with business applications.

OmniPage for Apeos allows users to convert hardcopy documents into electronic text or searchable PDF files prior to being distributed to email recipients and networked folders. RightFax for Apeos enables integration of business fax workflows with fax compliance from desktop and applicable ApeosPort MFD’s. XCMS for Apeos is a recovery solution with extra security features.

Customers will be the ones to benefit most from this partnership, according to Pearce. “We’re extending the functionality of the devices,” he says. “The customer can buy something today and one or two years from now they can buy something new and take advantage of it internally. It’s a pretty open system.”
