Fuji Xerox launches Premier Partners Program in Australia
Global e-community offers digital printers opportunities to share knowledge and exchange business.
Fuji Xerox today announced the Australian launch of the Premier Partners Program, a Xerox sponsored, global e-community, open to Xerox Graphic Arts Service Providers.
“We are delighted to launch this initiative to the Australian graphic arts market,” said Michael Stone, National Production Systems Marketing Manager, Fuji Xerox Australia (pictured). “Premier Partners participating in this e-community can exchange business opportunities, share critical knowledge, and take advantage of services offered by Xerox and its technology partners.”
With 400 members worldwide, the global Xerox Premier Partners e-community has been enhancing its portfolio of resources so graphic arts professionals can share knowledge and exchange business. Benefits include:
Referral Service - the online directory enables easy access to a global community of Xerox Premier Partners, ensuring that printers never have to say no to a print job, even if they don’t own the required equipment or even operate in the right country.
Online Training – members can develop their skills and knowledge by taking advantage of the online digital library and world-class courseware covering a multitude of graphic arts topics. Members have access to 150 courses and links to 50 international graphic arts universities
Knowledge Service Offerings – in addition to online training, the Premier Partners site offers special content areas such as exclusive articles by top writers in the industry, links to top product reviews and on-demand, custom advice from a panel of leading experts
“The referral service adds value for our members by giving them more flexibility and extending their global revenue opportunities, since they can deliver on customer requirements, no matter what the job entails,” said Stone.
He added that each Premier Partner has an online profile listing their expertise, services and production capabilities by location. The referral service is user friendly, and allows members to choose and deal directly with print providers on terms, conditions and price to help them complete customer jobs.
Other benefits include free downloads, white papers, industry briefs, case studies, Marketing Partnership Program courses, forums and discussion groups.
“Premier Partners is about offering value-added services to our customers, enabling them to grow their business, not only through regional and international job sharing, but also through knowledge based services and support,” said Stone. He added that, in Australia, the plan is to limit members initially to ten, but indicated this figure would be open to review, depending on the success of the program.
Australian Print Provider Joins Up
One of the first Australian-based graphic arts companies to join the Premier Partners
Program, having met a strict set of criteria set by Fuji Xerox, is Corporate Documentation Management (CDM). According to Managing Director Mike Jones (pictured right), it is an opportunity to be part of a global network and share knowledge.
“The Premier Partners Program allows us access to global knowledge, resources and trends, as well as being an important placement for our print-on-demand services,” he said.
