Fuji Xerox Australia has won a $27.7 million New South Wales Government contract to print and mail toll notices resulting from unpaid tolls on Sydney roads.
The NSW Roads and Maritime Services agreement with Fuji Xerox BusinessForce runs for 18 months until 30 November 2018.
“The contract is for the production of toll notices in Sydney and entails an integrated printing and mail house solution,” says a spokesperson for Roads and Maritime.
“There are millions of unpaid toll notices that go out every year. People without a tag can travel on multiple motorways every day, to and from work, and when you think about the massive amounts of trips every year on many networks of motorways, it’s easy to see how it all starts to add up. Over 150,000 journeys can be made on one motorway in a single day.
“With a contract of that size, you’d imagine a fair bit of it would be for postage.”
The estimated $27,720,000 deal is a continuation of Fuji Xerox’s previous contract with the agency.
