Galley club calls out for entries

Deadline draws nearer for this year’s book and magazine production awards.

Galley Club president, Michael Schulz, (pictured), encourages all printers to enter. “This years’ awards will provide a great opportunity for publishers, designers and printers to showcase their work and honour their peers,” he said.

Nominations can be submitted by filling out the nomination form via the website www.galleyclub.com.au. After completing the online nomination form, printers are required to send: a mint copy of their entry, clearly marked with the category and a JPEG/PDF of cover on CD or via email

The entry fee is $20 per entry plus a $20 admin fee. Entries close on Thursday 3 June 2010.

According to Schulz, entries are judged on the function and quality of their design, production, pre-press, printing and binding in accordance with established industry guidelines.
