Game on for this year’s LATMA Charity Golf Day
It’s game on for members of the Label and Tag Manufacturers Association of Australia (LATMA), with the association set to hold its Annual Charity Golf Day on Thursday 17 October in Sydney.
Proceeds from this Annual Charity Golf Day go to The TY Nelson Department of Neurology in The Children’s Hospital at Westmead which diagnoses and treat many patients each year with what can be life-threatening illnesses such as epilepsy, paralysis and encephalitis.
In particular, the funds raised by LATMA are used in the research and clinical work of the neurology team to better understand and treat these diseases.
Dr Deepak Gill from Westmead will speak at the dinner at Carnarvon Golf Club on the evening of 17 October, presenting the latest work of the neurology department plus be assisted by a young man who has undergone successful brain surgery to treat his epilepsy.
LATMA says it would love to see everybody there and reminds its members that there are only a limited number of carts, so although people can reserve one, it's not set in concrete until payment is made.
The LATMA Charity Golf Day is being held at Carnarvon Golf Club, Lidcombe NSW on Thursday 17 October. As always, guests can organise their own 'Awesome Foursome' team, or they can be slotted into a group by the organisers.
