It's the last chance for wine lovers to get their hands on a personalised bottle of Wolf Blass by preregistering for PacPrint, as the promotion ends next Thursday March 30.

Visual Connections, in conjunction with Printing Industries, are offering individually-labelled wine bottles printed on HP Indigo machines to the first 5000 people to preregister for the show in May. "We spoke to as many of our members as possible to come up with different ways to attract visitors to PacPrint, and HP approached us with the idea for this wine promotion, so we jointly came up with the solution and the design and such," said Peter Harper, general manager of Visual Connections.

The campaign has already increased preregistration by 20 percent on 2013's numbers, but it closes at the end of this month. Jason Beckley, segment manager for labels and packaging at HP, said the wine bottle offer was a great way to show off what HP Indigo could do with shrink-sleeve labelling. “This was about not only showcasing not only what HP can do with unique packaging, but also what a brand can do with shrink sleeve, pushing the boundaries on shelf appeal,” he said.

Each wine bottle features a one-of-a-kind design produced using HP’s Mosaic software, an individual ID number, a special barcode that can be scanned through a QR reader to verify it’s the real deal, and – of course – the owner’s name.

To get your hands on this special drop, register now for PacPrint 2017 - and while you're there, look at the special accommodation deals available to visitors.

Print21 is also offering readers the chance to win the PacPrint Great Escape - a trip for two to Melbourne to attend the exhibition.
