Glamour and fun from NPA’s celebrity stars

Compering the 23rd National Print Awards with Sandra will be entertainer and impressionist, Paul Martell. The celebrity pair will take centre stage in the Ballroom at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, on Friday, May 12, in front of what organisers expect will be a capacity audience.

They will announce this year’s gold-medal and sponsors’ awards, including the Paperlinx Award for printing excellence by an apprentice, the Agfa Award for the most innovative use of imaging, and the Heidelberg Australia Award for excellence in craft.

“The quality of print submitted has been the highest ever,” says Rod Urquhart, chairman of the judges.

Prices for tickets are $135 per head, with organisers noting that this price has remained the same for the past five years.

National Print Awards chairman Scott Telfer said: “The industry can look forward to a memorable night, with premium foods and wines selected for the presentation dinner.”

But he cautioned attendees to book early and avoid disappointment. Tables of 10 will be allocated in order of booking.

Invitations to the dinner have been scheduled for mailing to sponsors, patrons and entrants on March 20. Alternatively, invitations can be obtained by visiting www.nationalprintawards.com.au and downloading an invitation/registration form.

Registration forms should be printed out and completed, then mailed with payment by cheque or credit card details to
National Print Awards, P.O. BOX 733 HAWTHORN, VIC 3122.

Entrée cards/name tags will be issued by post as acknowledgement of registration. Admission is by prior registration only. It is therefore important that registrations are received by April 24.
