GSA signs on to deliver Fuji Hunt chemistry
According to Peter Carrigan, GSA general manager, (pictured far right with James Ackland of DS Chemport, Sydney) the addition of the PressMax range will greatly enhance the company’s ability to offer commercial sheetfed customers a complete chemistry solution.
“Our goal is supply a full range of on-press chemical products to complement our Fuji plates. The PressMax range includes a comprehensive suite of products designed to meet most printing needs. Although they can be used very successfully with non-Fuji products, they are formulated to work most effectively with Fuji plates.”
“A major advantage for Fuji plate users using the PressMax chemicals is that GSA will now be better placed take full responsibility for what happens on the press. There won’t be any buck-passing between plate supplier and chemical supplier. We’ll provide a complete service to customers to ensure high quality on-press performance.”
In Australia, Fuji Hunt also owns the highly regarded local chemical supplier, DS Chemport. As part of the new arrangement, DS Chemport will provide local technical and laboratory support for the PressMax range at its facilities in Melbourne and Sydney.
“PressMax is a premium range of products for the commercial sheetfed sector,” said Ken Rendell, DS Chemport associate director, commercial. “In particular, the PressMax range is ideal for printshops looking to reduce or eliminate the use of alcohol or other solvents in the pressroom.”
“The fact that GSA is the local Fuji agent and DS Chemport is a Fuji Hunt company will deliver useful synergies to local customers and ensure they receive first-rate service in support of the PressMax products,” he added.
