Following the announcement that the manroland web-press manufacturing site at Augsburg is safe from bankruptcy, Stephen Anstice CEO of IPMG confirmed Hannanprint's move from Alexandria to Warwick Farm is still on.

IPMG is very pleased to see that Possehl Group has been revealed as the buyer for the Manroland Augsburg plant, the manufacturing site for web presses.

Hannanprint is still expecting the new 96 page Lithoman (manufactured by Manroland) to arrive at its new Warwick Farm plant in June this year.

The confirmed delivery of the new press means the relocation plan for Hannanprint is still expected to be completed by early 2013 despite the insolvency of Manroland.

As previously announced the new plant will be ideal for Australia’s major publishers and retailers and has been well received by customers such as News Limited and Fairfax for whom IPMG supplies all externally printed newspaper inserts and magazines under long term contracts.

The Hannanprint 96-page manroland web press is one of two ordered for the Australian market late last year. PMP is also expecting delivery of its press for its Western Australian operations.
